Absentee Electors - Voting Options

Two options are available for electors who will be absent during the election period:

A SPECIAL BALLOT poll will be open at City Hall during regular office hours beginning at 12:00 noon on October 3rd and continuing through to Election Day.  Eligible electors may also apply to have a special ballot mailed to them.

PROXY VOTING allows electors to appoint another elector to vote on their behalf.  Applications for PROXY VOTING are available now at City Hall.

The Election Office is located at City Hall – 2121 Second Avenue.  Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Eligible electors who will be out of town during the election period may vote by special ballot or by appointing a proxy to vote on their behalf. Applications for both proxy voting and special ballots are now available at City Hall or to download below. For more information, please contact elections@whitehorse.ca
