The Operations Department is responsible for the maintenance of the city's infrastructure. Operations employees are responsible for:
- transportation
- roads
- sidewalks
- bridges
- signage
- lighting
- traffic
- winter maintenance
- facility management and maintenance
- equipment and vehicle maintenance
Operations operates from the main floor of the Municipal Services Building at 4210 Fourth Avenue.
The warehouse function of the department provides inventory control and warehousing space for materials and supplies as well as surplus items.
The warehouse is located at 9030 Quartz Road.
