Regional Parks Plan Logo

Thanks for being part of something BIG!

On June 23rd, 2014, City Council adopted the Regional Parks Plan. The Plan is the result of a comprehensive public consultation process led by John Glynn-Morris General Consulting.

The Plan sets a 10 year direction for the management of the five protected park areas identified in the City's 2010 Official Community Plan for their environmental and recreational values. The Regional Parks are:

  • Chadburn Lake Park
  • McIntyre Creek Park
  • Paddy's Pond / Ice Lake Park
  • McLean Lake Park
  • Wolf Creek Park

The creation of these Regional Parks will ensure that wilderness is at our door-step for generations to come.
