Runway Family Fun Run and Pancake Breakfast

Join us for the 10th Annual Runway Family Fun Run and Pancake Breakfast!

Air North, Yukon's Airline together with Chieftain Energy and the City of Whitehorse are pleased to invite you to this fun-filled event celebrating National Health and Fitness Day.

Run or walk your way around the 8.75km perimeter of the Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport and join us for a pancake breakfast served afterwards.

A special thank you to our partners at Sports Experts for providing a coupon for each Fun Run participant!

You may register through Eventbrite or in-person on race day for $5.00 cash. Children age 8 and under are not required to pay the fee. A portion of this fee will go towards supporting the Learning Disabilities Association of Yukon.

Registration and bib pick-up 8:30 am

Indigenous Day Live - APTN Event

On Saturday June 22, APTN will host Indigenous Day Live from Shipyards Park in Whitehorse. 

Indigenous Day Live is the largest national celebration in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day and the summer solstice in Canada. There are free daytime celebrations and activities followed by an evening concert (pre-show: 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. / IDL concert: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.). 

Hosted by Chantal Rondeau and Dave Jenniss, concert performers include Terri Clark, The Julian Taylor Band, Leela Gilday, Shauit and more.

The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre will also host festivities for National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21.
