Welcome to the City of Whitehorse's Municipal Election 2021 webpage and online registration portal. We are pleased to provide Whitehorse residents an online source of information for both voters and candidates. We will be updating this site through the election period, so check back often for additional information.
On October 21, 2021, Whitehorse residents will elect a new Council, comprised of a Mayor and six Councillors, for a three-year term.
For this year's election, the City has partnered with Elections Yukon to modernize the election process. The City will use an electronic list of electors which has been updated and cross-checked with the most current available voter information from the Elections Yukon permanent registry.
For the first time, Whitehorse voters can register to vote, update their registration information, and apply to vote by mail online. And everyone will be eligible to vote by Special Ballot.
This year's election for the Whitehorse City Council, is on Thursday, October 21. We encourage all Whitehorse electors to vote and have a say in the upcoming Municipal Election 2021.
