The 20th anniversary of the 20 Minute Makeover was on May 15, 2019!
The 20th anniversary of the 20-minute makeover was a huge success. This year, once again, we witnessed a tremendous turnout in response to the City’s challenge.
A whopping 3,800 kilograms of litter and garbage was cleaned up from Whitehorse properties, alleyways and greenbelts. Yukon government collected 2,350 kilograms, the Whitehorse business community collected 800 kilograms and the City of Whitehorse collected 650 kilograms.
This is more than twice the total amount that was collected last year (1,750 kilograms).
