DESCRIPTION:The City is seeking feedback as efforts continue to make our roads and transportation networks safer for all. \nA Vision Zero Policy is being developed. \nCentred around four main goals\, the plan will: \n– Develop a vision\, guiding principles\, and targets for safe mobility in Whitehorse \n– Collect and analyze data to understand local collision trends and concerns \n– Develop key focus areas and actions to reduce fatalities and serious injuries\, informed by data and input from the community \n– Empower the City\, public and others towards positive change in safety culture \nThe City is seeking the public engagement on the plan. Fill out a survey from June 11 to July 9 and take part in a webinar June 25 by visiting engagewhitheorse.ca/vision-zero-policy.
