DESCRIPTION:  \nNational Family Week\nOctober 5-9\, 2026\nCelebrate National Family Week at the Canada Games Centre with a week of FREE family activities designed to get families moving\, creating\, exploring\, and spending time together. \nActivities include soccer\, Zumba\, crafts\, basketball\, outdoor adventures\, floor hockey\, skating\, and more. \nParent/guardian participation is required for all activities\, except Glow Skate\, which is open to the general public. \nSchedule\nMonday\, October 5\n\nFamily Soccer 5:00-7:00 p.m. | Fieldhouse\nRun\, kick\, and get the whole family involved in a soccer game.\n\nTuesday\, October 6\n\nFamily Zumba 4:45-5:30 p.m. | Flexihall\nGet the whole family moving to the beat with our Zumba instructor.\n\nWednesday\, October 7\n\nFamily Craft Time 1:00-2:30 p.m. | Kids Club\nJoin the Preschool Team for a fun family craft.\nFamily Basketball 4:30-6:00 p.m. | Flexihall\nDrop in and shoot some hoops with your family.\n\nThursday\, October 8\n\nLittle Wonders Outdoor Adventure* (Ages 2-6) 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. | Meet at the Stained Glass Meeting Room\nExplore fall leaves and the outdoor world with magnifying glasses.\nFamily Floor Hockey* (Ages 6+) 5:30-7:00 p.m. | Flexihall\nTry some drills and skills with our facilitator and play a friendly pickup game.\n\nFriday\, October 9\n\nMovin’ & Groovin’* (Ages 2-6) 10:30-11:30 a.m. | Fieldhouse\nCome dance\, wiggle\, tumble and toss!\nGlow Skate (Open to Everyone) 8:30-10:00 p.m. | ATCO Ice\nEnjoy an evening skate with glow sticks\, music\, and fun on the ice.\n\n\n*Age recommendations apply. \n
