DESCRIPTION:A Public Hearing on Bylaw 2026-25 will be held Monday\, August 24 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. \nLink to amendment\nDescription of amendment: Application to amend text and mapping of the Official Community Plan (OCP) to permit limited forms of Mineral Exploration within the Future Planning designation. \nDelegates can participate by calling into a meeting\, or by attending in person. To help us organize and secure a sufficient number of sitting spaces\, please notify Legislative Services by 12 p.m. on August 21 at legsvcs@whitehorse.ca or at 867-668-8611. \nResidents can provide their input at any time up until the Public Hearing is closed on August 24 by emailing publicinput@whitehorse.ca. \nIt is not necessary to participate in person at the Public Hearing to have your input considered.
