We’ll have bags\, gloves and graffiti cleaning supplies at Shipyards Park. Join us for a BBQ from 12 to 1 pm. \nSupplies will be available at the Frank Slim Building in Shipyards Park the week prior if your time is limited on the day of the event. \nIf picking up garbage in your neighbourhood\, you can drop it off at one of our extra collection sites. \n• Skate Park in Riverdale\n• Lazulite Park in Copper Ridge\n• Hickory and Wann Road Park in Porter Creek\n• Look-out on Range Road in Whistle Bend\n• Playground on Thompson Road for the neighbourhoods of Arkell\, Logan\, Granger \nCheck out the map below for collection sites and for areas that could use some TLC. \nRemember to stay safe and wear high visibility clothing when cleaning along wildlife corridors and busy roadways. \nIf you find needles/sharps\, please call or text Blood Ties Four Directions at 867-334-1647 for needle pick-up and disposal. \nReport illegal dumping activity to Bylaw Services at 867-667-2111\, at whitehorse.ca/sort or by using our What Goes Where app.
