2018 Volunteer of the Year

The City of Whitehorse values the importance of volunteers and their contributions to our community. It celebrates and publicly acknowledges outstanding volunteers by providing an opportunity for citizens to recognize and appreciate volunteers who have made significant impacts to their organizations.

The individuals nominated for the 2018 Volunteer of the Year will be invited to join us at a Volunteer Dinner with a guest and a representative from your organization on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the Coast High Country Inn. This will be held during National Volunteer Week, to recognize all nominated volunteers who have contributed many hours to community organizations throughout the City in 2018. At the dinner, one individual will be selected by City Council as the City’s “2018 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR”.
