Signal Light Improvements To Ogilvie Street

The City’s contractor, Arcrite Northern, will be upgrading the traffic signals at the Second Avenue and Ogilvie Street intersection on November 19.

While the work is in progress, the signals will be inactive and traffic controllers will direct traffic at the intersection. Work is expected to commence at 7 a.m.
until 11 p.m.

Please drive with care. Reduce speed, obey traffic controllers and construction signage. The scheduled date and times of work are weather dependent.

Once work is complete, an advanced left turn signal will be added for northbound traffic on Second Avenue to Ogilvie Street.

The left turn signal is being installed in the northbound to improve safety in the area and address higher traffic volumes.
