Where fun meets community! \nGames and activities\nSnacks and refreshments\nMusic\, fun and learning \nAt this week’s Fridays in the Park: \nYukon Health and Social Services\nLearn about the free Nav-CARE program that aims to help Yukoners with declining health live at home longer. \nYukonU Youth Moving Mountains\nTry out STEAM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Arts and Math) activities with Yukon University. \n\nHumane Society Yukon\nThe Humane Society team will be demonstrating how to safely handle and care for dogs and puppies. \nYukon University\nTry out STEAM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Arts and Math) activities with Yukon University. \nArctic Winter Games\nMeet the 2026 Arctic Winter Games mascot\, Michael Jay\, and sign up to volunteer at the Games. There will also be an AWG colouring station. \nChild Development Centre\nCalling all children between the ages of 1 and 5! Come explore the forest with us through a scavenger hunt. Or\, play with Play-Doh! \nYukon Literacy Coalition\nJoin your friends from the Family Literacy Centre on the Go For Literacy Bus! Crafts\, games\, stories and more! \nVirsa Crafts\nVirsa Crafts will be creating beautiful henna designs on little hands. \nThe Disciples Robotics Team\nJoin the team for an exciting demonstration of what it takes to compete in a robotics competition—from building robots to putting them into action! \nThe City’s Recreation\, Bylaw\, and FireSmart teams will also be attending. \n\n\nThe City’s Parks team is bringing an inclusive play tent\, FireSmart colouring books\, games\, freezies and Klondike Kettle Corn to share! \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all\, we kindly ask that children under 12 be accompanied by a guardian throughout the event.
