Bulky Items

Bulky items: those large, heavy, awkward to move, well-loved objects that sometimes overstay their welcome. But did you know that they must be separated from your regular waste? These bulky items take up valuable space in our landfill are subject to unsorted load fees when not separated out.

Disposal Information

	Material	Couch, Recliner, chair, Mattress, Wooden Furniture, Fencing, Others
	Requirements	Must be separated from regular waste. When mixed with regular waste, could trigger unsorted waste charges at the Waste Management Facility.
	Services	Can be dropped off at the Waste Management Facility for a fee.
	Good To Know	Hinges, screws, braces and other metal pieces can be left on. Is your item still in good working condition? Why not post it in the local classifieds, newspapers, radio, social media buy and sell or repair it for resale at a Yukonstruct’s monthly Repair café.
