In the event of officers performing service calls to private residences, we are asking residents to take extra steps towards keeping our staff safe. This includes, if possible, practicing physical distancing and maintaining a minimum distance of 2 metres (6 feet).

As always, we ask that residents provide a clear route to the work site by removing any obstacles and tripping hazards, ensuring that stairs and crawl spaces are safe, and keeping animals secured in another area.

City employees may also take additional precautions such as wearing personal protective equipment.

We would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation during this time.

To assist with your complaint, please provide as much information as possible. Providing the following information will help an officer in addressing the matter:

  • Date and time;
  • Location/addresses where violation is taking place;
  • Description of offence;
  • Detailed description of the offender, vehicle or animal; and
  • Your name and phone number (so we may get in contact with you to provide an update or gather more information to help us investigate the matter).

Please note: Bylaw Constables are on duty from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekends and statutory holidays.

Payment for traffic violation tickets issued under the Traffic Bylaw may be made online, in person, or by Visa or Mastercard over the phone. Please call City Hall at 867-667-6401, and a Customer Service Representative will assist you.

Animal licences may be obtained at City Hall.
