Environmental Grant

Have an idea that inspires our community to embrace sustainability? Each year, we support projects that work toward sustainability goals for Whitehorse. Past projects have supported bike use, waste reduction and diversion from the landfill, local gardens and food harvest, outdoor living and recreation, bird nest boxes, control of invasive species and more.

Application deadline for Major Grants (over $1,000) is October 15.

Application intake for Minor Grants ($1,000 or less) is on-going and accepted from January 1 to November 15.
