Transit routes Routes 5, 202, 401 and the Riverdale Loop will change on January 25. Maps and schedules are updated, below.

Here’s an overview of what to expect.

Riverdale Loop
Buses will run throughout the day, with no interruption.

Route 401
Extra bus service will be added during peak-times, due to high ridership demand.

Route 202
We’re adjusting the route path to improve on-time performance.
• From Two Mile Hill, the route will go directly to 4th Ave (instead of turning left onto Chilkoot Way).
• Leaving Downtown, the route will follow Quartz Rd to Industrial Rd, following Two Mile Hill to the CGC.

Route 5
We’re reversing the direction in Marwell and Takhini.
• Leaving Downtown, the route will go north into Marwell and turn left into Takhini, heading southbound.
• Heading back downtown, the route will turn left onto Chilkoot Way and back to its normal route.
• This means we’re dropping the Range Point from this route, but this change is offset by the additions for 401.

We’re enhancing services to “Takhini & University” (route 5N segment) to provide better service for late riders and students.
• The bus will leave City Hall at 9:40 pm and follow its new route path to Yukon University and back, ending at City Hall at 10:05 pm for our drop-off service at 10:15 pm.
