2023 Volunteer of the Year
Timothy Sellars is the City of Whitehorse Volunteer of the Year. Sellars was nominated by the Canadian Ski Patrol for dedicating countless hours and demonstrating exceptional leadership over the past 26 years. Sellars was chosen from an impressive group of 18 volunteers.

The City of Whitehorse’s Fire Department has a full-time fire crew supported by volunteer fire fighters. Volunteers are a very important part of the City’s ability to protect property and lives of Whitehorse’s citizens.
