The City of Whitehorse Street Eats festival is back!
Three days of food, entertainment and community fun are set to begin Monday, August 25 on Steele Street in front of City Hall.
To accommodate the festival, Steele Street will be closed from Second Avenue to the entrance of the parking lot behind CIBC. The parking lot on Steele Street will remain open throughout the festival and will be accessible via Front Street.
Food vendors will be dishing out lunch, dinner, and snacks between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. Visitors can also take in performances by local entertainers and play games with friends. There is sure to be something for everyone.
Vendors participating in Street Eats include:
- Fast and Tasty
- Chip Inn
- Half Moon Ice Cream
- Food Ninja
- Faladi Ethnic Foods
- Azhong Noodles
- Daat Indian Cuisine
- Smashed YXY
Entertainment will get underway every day at 4 p.m. with a circus performance from Yukon Circus Society that continues until 7 p.m.

Tuesday:
Outdoor Zumba, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday:
Kim Beggs, 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Claire Ness, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Fraser Canyon, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
