All Available Resources Clearing Snow

All available City resources were out overnight plowing and sanding roads throughout Whitehorse in response to the snowfall, and will continue clearing snow today.

All Priority 1 and 2 roads and trails are open and passable to those equipped for winter snow conditions. Planned snow removal will be delayed as crews focus on plowing and sanding.

Once the snow stops falling, crews will shift to cleaning up intersections and snow removal work will resume.  Contractors will be supporting City crews over the coming days to clear snow with a focus on accessibility.

Transit users can expect delays on all routes.

We remind residents to be patient, careful and drive to conditions. Please go slow when you see crews and equipment at work and make sure to give them space to do work safely.
