The Arctic Winter Games is taking place in Whitehorse Sunday, March 8 to Sunday, March 15.
Badminton, figure skating, futsal, hockey, and speed skating competitions will be happening at the Canada Games Centre.
As parking at the CGC will be limited, anyone planning to visit the facility is encouraged to carpool or use transit to assist with traffic flow. Drivers are asked to respect designated spaces as parking control will be enforced.
Overflow parking will be available at the disc golf/dog trail parking lot off Hamilton Boulevard. Games’ competition will also be underway at Takhini Arena and the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre and parking at those locations will be limited.
The Whitehorse Lions Aquatic Centre and Wellness Centre will be the only areas of the CGC open for drop-in during the Games. Visit whitehorse.ca/cgc for details.
