Canada Games Centre pool reopens

The Whitehorse Lions Aquatic Centre pool reopened Monday, September 16 at 5:30 a.m.

During the closure, crews completed annual maintenance work on the pool. They also made upgrades to existing infrastructure, such as:

• Installing an accessible lift chair for hot tub access
• Installing one new cold water shower for the steam room/sauna area
• Installing three new regular shower stations on the pool deck
• Installing new water supply lines to change rooms to allow for shower temperature control

From September 18 to 20, the water slide will be closed for crews to complete waxing and buffing. The pool will remain open for the duration of this work.
