City adds new art-wrapped waste cans Downtown

The City of Whitehorse is excited to unveil its first art-wrapped waste can at City Hall.

To help beautify Whitehorse and reduce graffiti, the City invited Whitehorse elementary schools to submit student artwork for this project.

Students from École Whitehorse Elementary, Elijah Smith Elementary , Golden Horn Elementary, and Jack Hulland Elementary participated.

In the upcoming months, there will be 24 cans wrapped in art and placed along the Riverfront Trail, the Millennium Trail, and at City Hall.
