On Boxing Day, tipping fees at the Waste Management Facility will be waived for self-hauled loads of sorted residential waste. Tipping fees still apply for metals, appliances, and all commercial loads.

Self-hauled car, pick-up loads, and small utility trailers with only:

– Residential waste

– Wooden furniture

– Mattresses and box springs

– Construction and demolition waste (must be separated from residential waste)

– Residential yard waste (loose or in approved compostable bags)

– Other organic waste (must be separated from residential waste

– Metals (scrap metal, lawn mowers, propane tanks, BBQs, etc.)

– Appliances (fridges, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.)

– All commercial loads (ICI, C&D, clearing and grubbing)

E-waste (TVs, computer equipment, fax machines, copy equipment, etc.) should be taken to Raven Recycling.
