Clean-up Days
May 21, 2026
During Clean-up Days (May 21 to 25), residential tipping fees at the Waste Management Facility will be waived for sorted residential waste.
There will be increased traffic during this busy weekend. Please follow traffic signs and direction by City staff. Thanks!
WMF Operating Hours (location)
Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9 am – 5:30 pm
Fees waived for car or pick-up loads, and small utility trailers with sorted:
Residential waste
Wooden furniture
Mattresses and box springs
Construction and demolition waste (must be separated from residential waste)
Residential yard waste (loose or in approved compostable bags)
Other organic waste (must be separated from residential waste)
Tipping fees still apply on:
Metals (scrap metal, lawn mowers, BBQs, etc.)
Appliances (fridges, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.)
All commercial loads (ICI, C&D, clearing and grubbing)
Recycling and e-waste should be taken to Raven ReCentre. E-waste includes TVs, computer equipment, fax machines, copy equipment, etc.
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
You can drop off HHW every week at the WMF. Find out more here.
If you’re planning to combine trips, these are the dates during our Clean-up Days that you can bring your HHW.
Waste oil, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid, automotive containers and oil filters
