Fire Prevention Week
Oct 04, 2026
Fire Prevention Week is October 4 to 10, 2026
This year’s Fire Prevention Week theme is Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower. Everyday actions can help prevent lithium-ion battery fires.
Unplug your device when it is fully-charged. Leaving it plugged in longer than needed can increase heat and stress on the battery.
