National Day of Mourning

Many City of Whitehorse offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Monday, September 19 to observe the National Day of Mourning.
Regular weekday service will be in effect for Whitehorse Transit. The Canada Games Centre and Waste Management Facility will both operate regular hours with curbside collection continuing as normal.
The Frank Slim Building at Shipyards Park will be open to the public, while the Parks office will be closed.
Monday’s City Council meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 20.
Residents wishing to pass along their sympathy to the Royal Family can do so by signing the condolence book online, or in person at the Office of the Commissioner of Yukon at 412 Main Street during the office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
