Fourth Avenue resurfacing work

A section of Fourth Avenue from Ogilvie Street to Second Avenue is scheduled to be resurfaced starting on Friday, September 12.

UPDATE September 11: This work is now scheduled to start on Monday, September 15.

The work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete and is weather-dependent. Drivers can expect traffic to be reduced to one-lane in each direction for periods of time.

Efforts will be made to minimize disruptions to businesses in the area and maintain traffic flow throughout the duration of the project.

The bike path on Fourth Avenue will not be available while work is underway. Cyclists are advised to plan alternative routes.

Transit riders can expect minor delays.

Residents are advised to allow extra time for commuting through the area. Please drive with care, reduce speed, and follow all traffic controls and signs.
