An inspection of the City’s emergency closure gates on Robert Service Way will be underway Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m.
The work is expected to take approximately 15 minutes. During this time, the emergency gate on the west side will be opened and closed to examine gate alignment and measurements.
Robert Service Way will remain open with temporary traffic control signage in place. Motorists can expect minor delays.
This planned maintenance is happening in coordination with the gate supplier. While the gate may be swung across the roadway as part of the inspection, residents are reminded it is not an emergency situation.
The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation.
