Valerie Braga has been appointed as Interim City Manager of the City of Whitehorse. The appointment was made by City Council at a Special Council meeting on January 5.
Ms. Braga takes over from outgoing City Manager Jeff O’Farrell, who has left the City to pursue a senior leadership position with the Government of Yukon.
City Council has initiated a process to recruit a new permanent City Manager.
Ms. Braga will serve as Interim City Manager until a new City Manager is appointed by City Council.
