Make a plan to harvest and dispose of your Christmas tree. ‘Tis the season!

Christmas tree harvesting is permitted in certain areas within Whitehorse. Use our interactive map to start your search! This map is brought to you in partnership with Yukon Forest Management Branch.

Visit whitehorse.ca/trees to find information about areas within and around Whitehorse where households can cut up to two trees, and guidelines for cutting down trees.

The City is no longer providing curbside Christmas tree pick-up. Residents can drop off their natural Christmas trees at the Waste Management Facility for free during the month of January. Please remove all tinsel, ornaments and lights before disposing of your tree.
