McIntyre Drive crosswalk installation

A decorative crosswalk is scheduled to be installed on McIntyre Drive in front of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation’s Administrative Building on Tuesday, September 22 or Wednesday, September 23, weather permitting.

The crosswalk features artwork designed by Teagyn Vallevand.

Work is expected to take approximately one day.

Traffic will be reduced to one-way heading westbound on McIntyre Drive between Murphy Road North and McClimon Crescent while construction is in progress. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Murphy Road. Transit service is not expected to be significantly affected by the work.

Drivers can expect temporary traffic disruptions, including short delays. Road users are asked to slow down, exercise caution and follow all posted signage when crews are working in the area.
