Mountain View Drive bike lane temporarily closed for Takhini Sanitary Trunk Main construction

Starting Friday, July 14, pedestrian and cyclist traffic will be closed on Mountain View Drive between Range Road and Tlingit Street.

The City’s contractor is continuing work on the Takhini Sanitary Trunk Main with excavation occurring along the shoulder of Mountain View Drive. A closure is required to reduce the risks to active transportation users.

Active transportation will be detoured onto Range Road until mid-August, depending on construction progress.

Pedestrian access to the route 201 bus stop at Range Road and Mountain View Drive will remain in place.
