            New Residential Recycling System set for November 1

            October 23, 2025

            Effective November 1, Circular Materials will begin managing residential recycling services in Whitehorse, including curbside collection.

            Curbside recycling in Whitehorse will continue to be provided by Whitehorse Blue Bin Recycling following the current schedule. As of November 1, residents will no longer be charged $12.50 per/month for the service.

            On November 1, a new public recycling depot will open at Raven ReCentre, 100 Galena Road, for all residential packaging and paper products.

            The hours of operation for the new recycling depot at Raven ReCentre will be:

            • Monday to Saturday
              9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

            The last day of operation for the City’s temporary recycling depot at the Waste Management Facility will be Friday, October 31, after which it will be closed permanently.
