Pool set to reopen for CGC Birthday Party

The Canada Games Centre is making a splash!

The Whitehorse Lions Aquatic Centre will reopen two weeks ahead of schedule following annual maintenance work on the pool – just in time to add “pool party” to the list of festivities for the CGC’s 20^th Birthday Celebration, Saturday, October 4 at 1 p.m.

Thanks to crews who completed the maintenance work and upgrades to the ventilation system ahead of schedule.

Birthday party guests can enjoy free 30-minute swims in the pool between 1 and 3 p.m.

The fall schedule for the aquatic centre will resume following the celebration.

The City thanks residents for their patience during the closure.
