The City of Whitehorse is inviting feedback on its draft Climate Action Plan.
The draft plan outlines a comprehensive strategy to address climate change and reflects feedback from the public and various stakeholders over the past year.
The draft plan outlines the City’s short and long-term goals, targets, and initiatives across seven key pillars:
1. Transportation
2. Buildings and Infrastructure
3. Waste and Materials
4. Natural Areas and Parks
5. Emergency Management
6. Community Education and Engagement
7. Corporate Leadership.
The draft Climate Action Plan aligns with several City plans, including the Whitehorse 2040 Official Community Plan and the Whitehorse Sustainability Plan.
The City will be hosting an Open House to provide information about the draft plan:

Residents are also encouraged to complete a survey about the plan until June 20.
