Residents are reminded to follow signage, directions and keep a safe distance when crews are working throughout Whitehorse.
This includes work happening on trails, roadways or in other public areas to undertake maintenance and enhance public safety.
The City and its contractors implement comprehensive risk management plans to ensure public safety, but it is important for residents to be mindful and responsive to public information about ongoing projects and work sites.
Public Service Announcements, social media posts, door-to-door visits, trail closure notices, on-site signs and barricades are intended to help the public stay informed and keep a safe distance from work areas.
These measures help ensure everyone’s safety. Please be kind, respectful and give all staff and contractors the space required to do their work safely.
