Road Closure For Winterval Santa Parade Of Lights

Main Street will be closed on Friday, December 6 at 6 p.m. for the Whitehorse Winterval Santa Claus Parade of Lights.

The parade will start at Sixth Avenue and Main Street and will proceed along Main Street towards Front Street.

Bylaw Services will provide traffic control with Main Street closed for the duration of the parade.

Following the parade, Front Street will be closed from Steele Street to Elliot Street for the City of Whitehorse’s Christmas Tree lighting.

Residents planning to take in the parade and tree lighting are encouraged to use public transit, carpooling and active transportation, as parking will be limited.
