Route 5 Transit Changes

Route 5 – Copper Ridge Express and Lobird will return to using Robert Service Way starting tomorrow, July 25.

The route was diverted onto the Alaska Highway to maintain timely service due to the landslides along Robert Service Way. With the escarpment now showing continued signs of stability and the road now open, City of Whitehorse Transit Services will resume the use of Robert Service Way to access and leave the downtown core.

This will result in improved timeliness for passengers and improve the on-time performance of the overall network.
