WHL Yukon Showcase at Takhini Arena

The Western Hockey League Yukon Showcase featuring the Medicine Hat Tigers and Kelowna Rockets is taking place at Takhini Arena this weekend.

Games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13.

Heavy traffic is anticipated along Range Road and Hamilton Boulevard from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night.

Parking will be limited. Anyone planning to attend the games is encouraged to use active transportation, carpool, or take Transit to assist with traffic flow.

Drivers are asked to respect designated spaces.

Please do not block accessible parking spaces, bus lanes, crosswalks, or bus stops along Range Road. Vehicles will be towed if they are parked in designated no-parking areas.

Do not park by Fire Hall #2 (Public Safety Building). Emergency vehicles need enough space to safely come and go from the station.
