The 2026 Arctic Winter Games closing event takes place Saturday, March 14 at 3:30 p.m.
The closing ceremony features a street party on Main Street celebrating the Games, complete with live music and entertainment. It serves as a final send-off for the Games.
To accommodate the event, road closures and parking restrictions are in place.
- No parking on Third Avenue between Main Street and Steele Street between 7 a.m. on Friday, March 13 until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.
- No parking on Main Street between Second Avenue and Fourth Avenue between 8 p.m. Friday, March 13 and 11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 14.
- No parking on Third Avenue between Main Street and Elliott Street between 8 p.m. Friday, March 13 and 11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 14. Third Avenue will be closed between Main Street and Steele Street from 12 p.m. Friday March 13 to 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. The Third Avenue closure will extend to Elliott Street beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 until 11:59 p.m.
- Main Street will be closed between Second Avenue and Fourth Avenue on Saturday, March 14 from 12 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Drivers can expect some delays on Elliott Street and Steele Street to accommodate Arctic Winter Games buses.
This is a large event open to the public.
As parking is limited, attendees are encouraged to take transit, use active transportation, or consider carpooling.
