Six bicycle pushbuttons at intersections downtown are being removed due to poor functionality.
The wireless pushbuttons were installed over the past two years as part of the City’s work to improve the active transportation network throughout Whitehorse. The devices have experienced multiple operational issues in that time. They are now being removed as the City looks for a more reliable alternative to support cyclists.
The City remains committed to improving the active transportation network in Whitehorse.
