Most City facilities, including the Canada Games Centre and City Hall, will be closed and there will be some service impacts.
The Frank Slim Building in Shipyards will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Weekend service will be in effect for Transit with buses being re-routed from 2nd Avenue during the 11 a.m. Canada Day parade. Transit stops along 2nd Avenue at Black Street, Keish Street, and Ogilvie Street will be closed during the parade. There may be some minor Transit delays at this time. The Waste Management Facility will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Curbside collection will continue for Porter Creek and Crestview. Curbside collection schedules are available at whitehorse.ca/wasteservices.
