Christmas tree harvest

Planning to harvest your Christmas tree?

Harvesting of trees is permitted in certain parts of the city. To find out where, use the Christmas Tree Location interactive map at experience.arcgis.com. This map is done in partnership with the Yukon Forest Management Branch.

The City no longer provides curbside Christmas tree pick-up, but residents can drop off their natural Christmas trees at the Waste Management Facility for free in January.

Trees must be brought separately from other waste to avoid mixed load disposal fees.

Please remove all tinsel, ornaments, and lights before disposing of your tree.
