Compost update

Bagged compost is sold out at our Waste Management Facility, but that doesn’t mean we’re out of compost.

Residents can fill their own 20-litre bin at the Waste Management Facility for the same price as bagged compost ($6 per 20 litre). BYO-Bin during regular hours.

A small number of bags will also be available to purchase at the Fireweed Market on June 20, July 4, 18 and 25.

Bulk compost pickups must be scheduled by calling 668-8350 (extension 4). Bulk compost pickups are scheduled for Tuesday to Friday only.

Prices for larger bulk orders are $50 per cubic yard for orders between one and nine yards or $35 per cubic yard for orders of 10 yards or more.

The Waste Management Facility is open weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:30, and on weekends from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
