Dirt n’ Soul Bike Park upgrades

            October 7, 2026

The City is taking steps to keep the Dirt n’ Soul Bike Park at the Mount McIntyre Recreation Area safe and enjoyable for riders.

As part of this work, the dirt jumps and progressive drop features will be removed due to safety concerns.

The removal work is scheduled for Friday, October 9. The bike park will be closed to all users from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while work is underway. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation during this temporary closure. The City understands this is an important recreation facility for many riders.

Since opening in 2010, Dirt n’ Soul has been an important recreation facility for local riders, providing opportunities to build skills and enjoy the outdoors.

Looking ahead, the City will engage with the mountain bike community in 2027 to explore replacement features at the park, allowing riders of all levels to continue advancing their skills.

For more information, contact Parks at [email protected].
