The Whitehorse Fire Department (WHFD) will be conducting training exercises at 502 Hoge Street on Thursday, July 24 between 1 and 4 p.m.
A smoke machine will be used in the building. Two fire trucks and two WHFD duty trucks will be active on-site. Firefighters will be operating in full gear and using hose lines and tools as part of the exercises.
Ketza Construction Ltd. Is allowing the WHFD to use the building for training prior to its upcoming demolition. The building provides a safe, dynamic and realistic environment for training purposes.
