Help keep quality items out of the landfill.
The City of Whitehorse and Zero Waste Yukon will host an Indoor Community Garage Sale at the Canada Games Centre on Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Vendor registration is $35 and open here until May 10.
Shoppers are invited to come by for some good deals on new-to-you items and take part the free workshops happening at the garage sale for the first time.
Artist Leslie Leong will be on-hand to show you how to make old clothes like new again by printing on cloth. Zero Waste Yukon will host a clothing swap, Computers for Schools Yukon will offer tech support, Yukonstruct will host a mini repair café, ChainWhip Bike Coop will help with bicycle repairs and the Whitehorse Tool Library will be on hand to share information about its community tool sharing initiative.
