New bus shelters

Work is scheduled to install nine new bus shelters at high-use bus stops between September 27 and October 6.

The anticipated schedule will see new bus shelters installed at:

• Porter Creek Secondary School, northbound – Saturday, September 27
• Second Avenue and Ogilvie Street – Sunday, September 28
• Casca Boulevard and Aksala Drive – Monday, September 29
• Casca Boulevard and Leota Street – Wednesday, October 1
• Hamilton Boulevard and Canada Games Centre – Thursday, October 2
• 1406 Centennial Street (Super A Foods, Porter Creek) – Friday, October 3
• Porter Creek Secondary School, southbound – Saturday, October 4
• Second Avenue and Shipyards Park – Sunday, October 5
• Hamilton Boulevard and the Valleyview Walkway – Monday, October 6

Efforts will be made to minimize disruption during the work, and we appreciate the public’s patience as we undertake these Transit network improvements.
