The City of Whitehorse invites residents to get to know the organizations delivering programs and services around the city.
On April 21, the City will host its inaugural Recreation Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the ATCO Arena at the Canada Games Centre.
This free event will bring together organizations to share their work in the community.
Visitors will have an opportunity to learn more about programs, services and volunteer opportunities.
For organizations, it will be a chance to network, exchange ideas and gain exposure.
Sports, recreational groups, service organizations and non-profits will be on-hand.
A couple of groups may even bring some furry friends along to help showcase their work in the community.
